We first met in the fall of 1998. We were both in Chamber Choir together at the Claremont Colleges. In December, the choir performed at MadFeast--a Madrigal Feast at Claremont McKenna's Athenaeum. After one of our performances, we started talking, and talking, and talking... We've yet to stay quiet for more than 10 minutes. At the time, we were just friends, but that spring we began dating. This was complicated by the fact that Kevin was directing Stoppard's Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, and Alison was playing the lead role of Guildenstern. Suffice it to say, we saw a great deal of one another, and began dating around the second week of February, 1999. Our anniversary falls somewhere between February 8th and Valentine's Day.

Since then, both Kevin and Alison have graduated with their respective degrees in Computer Science and English, and are now pursuing graduate degrees at UCLA.
